Dear Colleagues, Since coming into office, Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has emphasized the importance of holding senior managers accountable for their leadership and the management of their staff, departments or missions. To this end, staff unions of the UN Secretariat have jointly developed a survey which we invite you all to participate in. It gives you an opportunity to rate your organization on the following aspects: Job satisfaction Career development Quality of supervision Leadership Ethics and organizational culture Empowerment Internal communication Work-life balance. The survey link is: The level of staff participation will determine credibility of the results and their usefulness to staff, department and mission heads, as well as to the office of the Secretary-General. With your active support, this survey should provide a baseline for annual progress monitoring at the departmental level. Responses are anonymous, so your identity is protected.
